Originally developed as a prototype for Wilson staff players on the major tours, the Staff Model Utility iron is now available to the consumer thanks to the recent popularity of driving irons. For the player who wants the forgiveness and launch properties of a hybrid, but wants to look at an iron, this hollow-body design features a super combination of distance and forgiveness. The high-strength C300 steel face delivers high ball speeds across the entire face. The center of gravity is situated low thanks to a 7 gram sole-weight, which delivers a higher launch than your normal 2, 3, and 4 irons.
